QUESTION

A right triangle with sides 3cm, 4cm and 5 cm is rotated about the side of 3 cm to

form a cone. The volume of the cone so formed is.

Answer :

If 3cm side is rotated to form circular cone then ,3cm will be the height of that circular cone .

{ \bold  {\sf {\purple{volume \: of \: cone \:  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times  \pi \:  \times  {r}^{2} \times h }}}}

 \implies \:  \:  \mathsf{v =  \frac{1}{3 } \times \pi \:  \times  {4}^{2}  \times 3 }

  \mathsf{ \implies \:  \:  \:  answer \:  =  \:  {16\pi \: cm}^{3} }
