Find the ratio of first quantity to the second.
1) Seeta got 45 marks and Geeta got 40 marks. Find
the ratio of Geeta's marks to Seeta's marks.
2) Out of 60 students in a class 35 are boys. Find the

(ii) Girls to Boys (ili) Total number of students to
girls.
3) Length and Breadth of a rectangle are 60m and
48m respectively. Find the ratio of the Length to the

i). ratio of boys to total students = 35/60 = 7/12 =7:12

ii). Girls to boys ,

here total girls = total students - boys = 60-35= 25

therefore ratio of Girls to boys= 25/35 = 5/7 = 5:7 .

iii) . total Students to girls= 60/25 = 12/5 =12:5 .

3. length to breadth = 60 / 48

= 30/24 = 15/12 = 5/4 = 5:4 .
