A river 2m deep and 45m wide is flowing at the rate of 3 km/h. Find the quantity of water that runs into the sea per minute.

The water is travelling in 3km/h = 3000m/h.
Water travelling in one minute = 3000 ÷ 60
= 50m/minute

Given wide of the river= 45m
and height = 2m
Total water that runs into the sea= lenght × breadth × hieght
= 50×45×2
=
