Answer:

area of the road =10472 m^2

cost of paving the road= 1047200 rs

Step-by-step explanation:

in the question given that,

now let the radius of the circular ground be=r

and radius of circular ground with toad be=R

circumference of ground=704 m

2*pie*r=704 m

r=704*7/22*1/2

r=112m

now, total radius of ground along with the road=R

R=radius of circular ground +width of road=112+14=126 m

now, area of the road=area of outer circle -area of inner circle

area of road =(Pie*R^2)-(Pie*r^2)

area of road= Pie(R^2-r^2)

=22/7(126^2-112^2)=22/7*3332=10472 m^2

so, the area of road is=10472 m^2

now, cost of paving per m^2 of road=100 rs

so, total cost of paving the complete road= area of road*cost of paving road per m^2

cost=10472*100=1047200 rs
