The road roller will take 1000 revolutions.

Given data :

Diameter of the road roller = 112 cm = 1.12 m

Length of the road roller = 2 m

Road area = 7040 m²

So,

The radius of the road roller = 1.12÷2 = 0.56 m

The curved surface area of the road roller = (2 × π × 0.56 × 2) = 7.04 m²

So,the number of revolutions

= (Road area / surface area of road roller)

= (7040/7.04)

= 1000 (answer)
