Why does the Sun appears to be Yellow at the time of Afternoons?

HERE IS YOUR REQUIRED ANSWER.

At noon, the Sun is overhead and the sunlight does not have to pass through much atmosphere before it reaches us.That's why the sun appears to be whitish yellow and the rays emitted are yellow.
