As we know,
No. of rotations=
(distance covered/circumference of roller)

So, circumference of roller=( distance covered/no. of rotations)

circumference= 2πr
distance= 2200m
no. of rotations= 200
Putting the values=
2πr= (2200/200)
2πr= 11m
2*(22/7)*r = 11.........(π= (22/7)
r= (11*7)/(2*22)
r = (7/4)
radius = 1.75m or (7/4)m

hope this helps you

Hi ,

Let radius of the road roller = r m

Distance covered by one rotation

= Circumference of the circle

= 2πr

Distance covered by 200 rotations = 2200m

200 × 2πr = 2200

200 × 2 × ( 22/7 ) r = 2200

r = ( 2200 × 7 ) / ( 200 × 2 × 22 )

r = 7/4

r = 1.75 m

Therefore ,

Radius of the roller = r = 1.75 m

I hope this helps you.
