a road roller of height 100 cm makes 500 revolutions to cover a distance of 1 km. find the radius of the road roller

Height of the roller = 100cm = 1m
Now let the radius = r m
So, csa of roller =
2\pi \: rh
Now, distance covered in 500 revolution =
1km = 1000m
So,
500*2 *22/7*r *1 = 1000
R= 1000*7*1/22*1000
R = 7/22 = 0.318 m
Or, r=31.8cm
