first we find to area of surface of roller

= 2πrh

= 2×22/7×21×50

= 6600cm²

now we find area of road = 1500× 6600

= 9900000cm²

= 990m²

The area of road is 9900000 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of roller = 21 cm

Length of roller = 50 cm

Curved surface area of cylinder = 2 \pi r h = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 21 \times 50 = 6600 cm^2

So Area covered in 1 revolution = 6600 cm^2

Area covered in 1500 revolution = 6600 \times 1500

Area covered in 1500 revolution = 9900000 cm^2

Hence The area of road is 9900000 cm^2
