-273 is also called absolute zero ...because it's temperature at winch molecular motion of particles stops that's why Charles said it is lowest temperature.

In Charles law,temperature is measured in kelvin.(K)
in K temperature, 0 K is lower temperature.
0 K = 0-273= –273°C
So,- 273°C is the lower temperature.
Moreover,it is called absolute zero temperature. This is a point of temperature at which molecular motion of the particles stop.
Temperature measured on kelvin scale is called absolute temperature.
