Answer:

r=3.5m

h=2m

c.s.a of cylinder=2πrh

=2×π×3.5×2

=π×14

1 revolution =44m2

20 revolution=44×20

=880m2

A road roller takes 20 complete revolutions to move once over to level a road. Find the area of the road, if the radius of a road roller is 3.5 m and height is 2 m.

║⊕ANSWER⊕║

Radius = 3.5 m

Height = 2 m

C.S.A of a cylinder

=  2πrh

=  2 * 22/7 * 3.5* 2

=  44 m²

1 revolution = 44 m²

20 revolutions = 44 * 20

                           = 880 m²
