The roller is cylindrical in shape,

hence one revolution of the roller = Curved surface area of the roller

C.S.A. = 2πrh where r is the radius and h is the height (or length)

r = 63 cm

h = 250 cm

C.S.A = 2×π×63×250

         = 99,000 cm²

This is the area of road leveled in one revolution

Hence area of road leveled in 900 revolutions = 99,000×900

                                                                              = 89100000 cm²

                                                                              = 8910 m²
