A rocket is moving up with velocity "v". if the velocity of the rocket is tripled, what will be the ratio of two kinectic energies??

intially K.E-1 = 1/2 mv^2

velocity tripled = 3v now K.E-2 = 1/2 m (3v)^2= 1/2 m 9v^2

ratio KE1:KE2= 1:9
