perimeter of the rectangle =28cm

28÷2=14

length =x

breadth= 14-x

x^2+(14-x)^2=8^2

x^2+196-28x+x^2=64

2x^2 - 28x =64-196

2x^2 - 28x =-132

x^2- 13X = -66(Divided by 2)

add (14÷2^2)= 49 to both sides to completing the square X^2-14X + 49 = -66÷49

(X-7)^2 = -17

The square of any number cannot be negative.

so we cannot find the value of X in this equation.

That is a square with perimeter 28 cm and diagonal 8 cm cannot be made
