To Find :-

What is the cost of levelling the ground?

Solution :-

Given that,

Diameter of roller (d) = 0.84 m

Therefore,

Radius = Diameter /2

⟹ Radius = 0.84/ 2

⟹ Radius = 0.42 m

We know,

CSA of roller area = 2πrh

Substituting the values, we get

CSA of roller area = 2πrh

= 2 ×3.1416 × 0.42 × 1.2

= 3.168 m²

Hence,

Area levelled by roller in 1 revolution = 3.168 m²

Area levelled by roller in 500 revolution

=500 × 3.168 m²

= 1584 m²

Therefore,

cost of levelling at 0.75 per m²

= 0.75 × 1584

= 1188

Hence,

The cost of levelling the ground is = 1188
