Given :-

➪ Length of room = 13m

➪ Breadth of room = 9m

➪ Height of room = 7m

➪ Cost of painting 1m² - ₹180

To find :-

➪ Cost of painting 4 walls at ₹180

Solution :-

➪ Area of 4 walls = 2(l+b)h      (The room is a cuboid)

➪ Area of 4 walls = 2(22)4

➪Area of 4 walls = 176cm²

➔ 1 door = 7.5 × 4 = 30m²

➔ 2 doors = 30 × 2 = 60m²

1 window = 4 × 2.5 = 10m²

Area of 4 walls without 2 doors and 1 window :-

➥ 176 - 60 - 10

➥ 106m²

➭ Cost of painting 1m² - ₹180

➭ Cost of painting 106m² - ₹x

➭ Cost of painting 106m² = 180 × 106

➭ Cost of painting 106m² = ₹19080

➦ Cost of painting it's four walls at ₹180/m² is ₹19080
