Area of room = length × breadth

Area of room = 13×9 = 117 m²

Let Length of required carpet be x m

Area of carpet = x × .75= .75x m²

Area of carpet = area of room

.75x = 117

x = 117 /.75 = 11700/75= 156

Length of carpet = 156 m

Cost of carpeting 1 m = ₹ 65

Cost of carpeting 156 m = 156 × 65 = ₹ 10140

Hence, the cost of carpeting = ₹10140
