A room is 16m long and 8.5m wide. if a square yogurt 10.5m is laid on the floor, then find the Area which is left uncarpeted

First to find the area of the room we have to multiply 16m and 8.5m
16*8.5= 136square metre
Then we have to find the area of the yogurt
for that we have to multiply 10.5m to itself
10.5*10.5= 110.25square metre
Then we will subtract 110.25 from 136
136 - 119.25 = 25.75square metre
The area which is left uncarpeted is
25.75square metre
