Area to be white washed= Area of room - Area of door+ Area of two windows
Area of room = 2(lb+bh+lh)
= 2× (4.5× 3 + 3×2.8+4.5×2.8)
= 2× ( 13.5 + 8.4+12.6)
= 2×34.5
= 69 m sq.
Area of door -
=l×b
=1.4×2
=2.8 m sq.

Area of windows=
= l×b×2
=2×1.5×2
=6 m sq.
Therefore, Area to be white washed= 69-(2.8+6)
=69-8.8
= 60.2 m sq.
Cost of white washing = 60.2 × 100
= 6020 rupees Ans
