Length= 7m 20cm= 720cm
Breadth= 5m 20cm= 520cm
Thus, area= (720×520) cm*2
= 374400 cm*2
Thus, no. of tiles= 374400/(720-520)
= 1872

Answer:

1872 is the no. of square tile that fits the area.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Length= 7 m 20 cm= 720 cm

Breadth= 5 m 20 cm= 520 cm

Thus, area of rectangle =  length * breadth = (720 × 520) cm²

                                                                        = 374400 cm²

Thus, no. of tiles = 374400/(720-520)

=  1872

1872 is the no. of square tile that fits the area of rectangular room.
