EXPLANATION

Length of the room = 15 m

Breadth of a room = 12 m

Area of rectangular room =

( Length × Breadth)

= ( 15 × 12 ) m = 180

180 × 100 = 18000 (change in cm)

Dimensions of marble slabs =

75 cm by 60 cm

So, number of marble slabs needed to cover

room = Area of room ÷ Area of marble slabs

= 18000 ÷ 75 × 60

= 14400

So, 1400 marble slabs needed to cover room.
