Total area of floor= 25*10=250 mtr2=2500000 cm2
Length of carpet is required to cover the floor=2500000/4=625000 cm

now here in this case the surface area of the floor as well as the surface area of the carpet must be equal.

surface area of the floor is equals to (LxB) =25x10 =250m²

how to cover all the floor the surface area of the carpet must also be equals to 250m²

So surface are of carpet = (LxB)
250. = Lx(4/100)
here we have converted 4 cm into m.
So, L = 6250m

so the length of the carpet required is equals to 6250m
