Length of the playground (l) =25m

Breadth of the playground (b) =15m

Perimeter of the playground

(P) ={2×(l+b)}={2×(25+15)}m

=40m

Hence the length of the rope will be 40m.

Given :

A rope needed to put a boundary round a 25 m long and 15 m broad playground.

To Find :

What will be the length of the rope ?

Solution:

Length of boundary = 25 m

Breadth of boundary = 15 m

Perimeter of boundary = 2(l+b)=2(25+15)=80

Hence the length of rope is 80 m
