The total length of rope is 60cm
One part is used to make rectangle.
So first We need to find the length of the first part I.e. the perimeter of rectangle
2*(l+b)=one part
2*(12+6)=one part
2*18=one part
36=one part
If one part is 36cm then other part would be 60-36=24 cm
A regular hexagon has 6 equal sides.
So the equation is like this
6*side=24cm
Side=24/6
Side=4
The side of a hexagon is 4cm
