Though rubber ball changes shape by pressing with hand, still it can be said to be solid as it follows the properties of solid which state that the atoms should be closely bonded in the material firmly with each other though they can move some bit to change the shape.

  Soft solid can change the shape by putting pressure however they do not need any container to have a shape.
