a runner runs on a circular path of radius 7m in 44 sec . after 3 m 40 sec find the distance travelled and displacement of the person

harshitha10: the circle. in 44sec he completes a round around the circle

harshitha10: distance traveled in 44sec=2πr=2×22\7×7=44m

harshitha10: 3m 40sec =(3×60)+40=180+40= 220sec

harshitha10: in 44sec he traveled 44m

harshitha10: then in 220sec=220×44/44=220m

harshitha10: thus distance traveled=220m

harshitha10: in circle intial and final point is same

harshitha10: so,displacement = 0
