Let the age of A's be=x
and age of B's be =y
According to question
X=2y..... equation 1. (as A's age is twice that of B's age)
Now,
four years ago
(x-4)×3=2y
3x-2y=12..... equation 2
now, put value of x in equation 2
y=3. and. x=6
