Given:-

  • income of A is 30% more than B

To find:-

  • How much % of B's income is less than A

Answer:-

  • let B's Income be 100
  • So, A's income = 100+30 = 130

if A's income is 130, then B's income is 30 less

if A's income is 1, then B's income = \sf\dfrac{30}{130}

if A's income is 100 then, B's income is less by:-

\sf\dfrac{30}{130} × \sf 100 = \sf 23.07\:% %

A = 30% more than B

100% of A = 30% of B + 100% of B

100% of A = 130% of B

(100/130)% of A = 1% of B

(100*100/130)% of A = 100% of B

~76.923% of A = 100% of B

So, B is ~(100 - 76.923) = 23.07% less than A.
