Let the salaries of A,B be x,y;

x=y(100160)

(160160−100)100=37.5%

saslray of B is 37.5% less than that of A

Let B's income be ₹ 100 .

Then, A's income = ₹ 160 .

If A's income is ₹ 160 , then B's income = ₹ 100

If A's income is ₹ 100 , then B's income = ₹ ( 100 / 160 × 100 ) = ₹ 62.50

So, B's income is less than A's income by ( 100 - 62.50 ) = 37.5 %
