let salary of C be x.

B salary is 20% more of C .

20% of C salary =

x \times \frac{20}{100}

 \frac{1}{5} x

B salary is =

x +  \frac{1}{5} x

 \frac{6x}{5}

A salary is 20% less than of B' salary

20% of B Salary =

 \frac{20}{100}  \times  \frac{6x}{5}

 \frac{6x}{25}

A salary =

 \frac{6x}{5}  -  \frac{6x}{25}

 \frac{30x}{25}  -  \frac{6x}{25}

 \frac{24x}{25}

According to question ,

A and B sum Salary is 5400.

 \frac{24x}{25}   +  \frac{6x}{5}    = 5400

 \frac{24x}{25}  +  \frac{30x}{25}   = 5400

 \frac{54x}{25}  = 5400

x = 5400 \times  \frac{25}{54}

x = 100 \times 25

x = 2500

Means Salary of C is 2500 .
