and x+y=3750----(2)
put (1) in (2)
5y=3750
y=750
x=3000
hence A's salary is 3000 and B's salary is 750

a=4b
a-4b=0..............(1)
a+b=3750.........(2)
subtracting eq1 from eq2 , we get
-5b=-3750
b=750
a=4×750
a=3000
