Answer:

Weight of Onions = 9.6 Kg <or> 9Kg 600g

Step-by-step explanation:

Total weight of Sack = 40Kg + 300g = 40.3 Kg

Weight of potatoes = 17 Kg + 700g = 17.7 Kg

Weight of Cabbage = 13Kg + 400g = 13.4 Kg

Weight of Onions = Sack  - ( Potatoes + Cabbage)

                             = 40.3 - (17.3 + 13.4)

                             = 40.3 - 30.7

                             = 9.6 Kg

Potatoes in the sack=17kg 700g
=17.7kg
Cabbage in the sack=13kg 400g
=13.4kg
so onions in the sack=40.3kg -(17.7kg+13.4kg)
=40.3kg-21.1kg
=9.2kg.
so the weight of onions is 9.2kg.
