by :- PV = nRT
first we have to find the number of moles at initial condition=
1×100= n(0.082)273
n = 4.467moles.
now, if we want to decrease the volume by 5 litres then:-
p(95) = 4.467×0.082×273(k)
p = 1.052 ATM
for additional pressure:-
p-P = 1.052-1.000
external pressure:- 0.052 ATM.
