a sample of oxygen contains 16 and o18 isotopes only with the percentage abundance respectively as 90% and 10%, how can the avg. number of neutrons per atom be 8.2?
( I need WRITTEN SOLUTION OR REASON)​

in o16,16-8

Answer:

Percentage abundance of O16 = 90%

Percentage abundance  of O18  = 10%

 

Average atomic mass of O = 16*90/100+18*10/100
