Given :
(given mass) W = 45.8 g
To find : n (no of moles)
Formula : n = W/M
Solution :
M (molar mass) of H2SO4 = 2(H) + 1(S) + 4(O)
=2(1) + 1(32) + 4(16)
[as molar masses of H, S, O are 1, 32, 16 respectively]
=2+32+64
=98 g/mol
Hence, n = W/M = 45.8/98 = 0.467 mol
(given mass) W = 45.8 g
To find : n (no of moles)
Formula : n = W/M
Solution :
M (molar mass) of H2SO4 = 2(H) + 1(S) + 4(O)
=2(1) + 1(32) + 4(16)
[as molar masses of H, S, O are 1, 32, 16 respectively]
=2+32+64
=98 g/mol
Hence, n = W/M = 45.8/98 = 0.467 mol
