The total amount of (net) work done by gravity as a satellite makes a complete orbit is zero. ... As the satellite moves away, the gravitational force has a component opposite the satellite's direction of motion, so gravity does negative work during the "moving away" part of the orbit.

Hope this gonna help you mate☺️

The net work done by a satellite revolving around Earth is Zero.

And for the justification,

The satellite will move in it's own orbit ot in a definite path, which is circular in nature. So when the satellite is in it's orbit, it will have some velocity which will always be away from the orbit.

And the gravitational force which will act upon the body will be perpendicular to the circle which the orbit makes.

And as we know that perpendicular Forces make a resultant of zero as the angle between them is 90° and cos(90)° is 0.

Hence, the Work done by the satellite is zero.

Thank you
