We know that carbon can make four bonds at max.

Thus,

The end carbons of the chain will have 3 hydrogens each .

Therefore remaining will have 2 hydrogens.

eliminating the end 6 hydrogens we are left with 54 hydrogens .

Thus , 54/2= 27

Therefore 27 carbons will have 2 hydrogens each and 2 carbons will have 3 hydrogens each.

Thus the saturated hydrocarbon has 29 carbons in total.
