Answer:

LET A AND B BE PARAG AND KALYAN RESPECTIVELY

Let present age of Parag = x

Let present age  Of Kalyan = 75-x(since sum of their ages is 75)

difference between their ages = x - (75 -x) = 2x - 75 ----> (1)

when A’s age was 75 - x

Kalyan’s Age must be (Parag’s age - their age difference)

Kalyan’s past age = (75-x) - (2x - 75) = 150 - 3x

it is given that Parag present age is thrice the Kalyan’s past age:

=> x = 3(150 - 3x)

10x = 450

value of x, Parag current age = 45
