since scalar has only magnitude and don't have direction so it's value will always be positive.
for example area is a scalar quantity so that's why it's value is always +ve whether by calculation some times the answer comes -ve but u have to make it +ve

pratikkumar: and it can't be -ve
kavitavinita: yes
pratikkumar: displacement can be -ve
kavitavinita: no
pratikkumar: why
kavitavinita: yes
pratikkumar: ok
kavitavinita: displacement can be -ve because it has direction
pratikkumar: yes you r true and happy Diwali
kavitavinita: same 2u
