A School has 8 periods a day each of 45 minutes duration. How long would each period become ,if the school has 6 periods a day ? ( assuming the number of school hours to be the same )

8 periods a day:

1 period = 45 mins

8 periods = 45 x 8 = 360 mins

6 periods a day:

6 periods = 360 mins

1 period = 360 ÷ 6 = 60 mins

Answer: Each period will be 60 mins long
