Radius of cylinderal glass= 3.5cm

Height upto glass filled with milk=12cm

Volume of cylindral glass=

22/7*3.5*3.5*12

3234/7

462cm

Volume of 1 cylindral glass=462cm3

Volume of 1000cylindral glass=1000*462

=462000cm3

1000cm3 = 1 litre

462000cm3= 462 litre

Therefore 462 litres of milk is required to serve 1000 students
