A scooter is Purchase for ₹15000 and ₹3000 is spend on its repair what will be the selling price of the scooter, if it incurs a 10% loss?

C.P of the scooter=₹15000
Money spent on its repair= ₹3000
Total=₹15000+₹3000
=₹18000
S.P=10% of ₹18000
=10/100×18000
=₹1800
₹18000-₹1800
=₹16200

money spend on its repairs = 3000 rupees
total amount scooter = 15000 + 3000 rupees
= 18000 rupees
loss = 10%
C.P. = ₹18000 - 10% of 18000 rupees
18000 - 10/100 × 18000
18000 - 1800 = 16200 rupees

krish1471: pen purchased by peter = 35 pens. cost of 5 pens = ₹5 ,so cost of one pen = ₹1 . cost of 35 pens = ₹ 35 . s.p. of 4 pens = ₹22 , so s.p. one pen = ₹ 11/2 , so s.p. of 35 pens = 11/2 × 35 =385/2 =₹ 192.5 , so gain = 192.5 - 35 = ₹ 157.5 ,gain% = gain/ c.p. × 100 =152.5/35 × 100 = 1525/350 × 100 = 3050/35 = 610/7
