Answer:

a = 2.5 m / sec^2

Explanation:

Given :

Initial velocity ( u ) = 10 m / sec

Final velocity ( v ) = 20 m / sec

Time ( t  ) = 4 sec

We have to find acceleration ( a )

From first equation of motion we have

v = u + a t

where

v = Final velocity

u = Initial velocity

a = acceleration

t =  time

Now put the values here we get

20 = 10 + 4 a

4 a = 20 - 10

4 a = 10

a = 2.5  m / sec^2

Thus , we get acceleration.

Answer :-

a = 2.5 m/s²

Explanation :-

Initial velocity (u) = 10 m/sec

Final velocity (v) = 20 m/sec

Time (t) = 4sec

Acceleration = ?

We have formula :-

\mathsf{\huge{\underline{\boxed{v=u+at}}}}

_______[ Put these values in equation]

» 20 = 10 + 4 * a

» 20 = 10 + 4a

» 4a = 20 -10

» 4a = 10

» a = 10/4

» a = 2.5 m/s²

So, the acceleration of the scooter is 2.5 m/s²

__________[ Answer]

\rule{200}{1}

Remember :-

All equations of motion are

» v = u + at

» S = ut + 1/2 at²

» - = 2as
