A scooter travels for 15 min with a speed of 45 km/hr. Find out distance travelled by the

15 min = 1/4 hour

distance = velocity × time

= 45 × 1/4 = 45/4 = 11.25 km

  • Distance = ?

speed = 45km/h

→ speed = 45 × 5/18

→ speed = 12.5 m/s

→ Distance = Speed × Time

→ Distance = 12.5 × 900

→ Distance = 11250 m

Convert into kilometre

  • 1km = 1000m

→ 11250/1000 = 11.2km
