We have,
- No. of turns in second coil = 300
- Initial current = 0 A
- Final current = 2 A
- Time taken = 0.05 s
We know that,
- e = -N ( ∆Φ/∆t )
Where, e = induced emf
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀N = number of loops/turns
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀∆Φ = Change in flux
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀∆t = Change in time
Put all the values in formula,
- e = -N ( ∆Φ/∆t )
- e = -300 ( 2 - 0/0.05 )
- e = -300 × 200/5
- e = -300 × 40
- e = -1200
Therefore, the induced emf is -1200 volt.
