Answer:

Given:

  • Radius = 10cm
  • Angle ( Ѳ) = 72°

We know that:

Area of Sector = Ѳ/360 × πr²

\implies Area of sector = 72/360 × 22/7 × 100

\implies Area of sector = 1/5 × 22/7 × 100

\implies Area of sector = 22/7 × 20

\implies Area of sector = 62.8 cm²

Hence:

Area of sector is 62.8 cm².

Other Formulas:-

●Area of Sector = Ѳ/360 × πr²

●Length of Arc = Ѳ/360 × 2πr

●Area of Quadrant = 1/4πr²
