Given  :  A sector of central angle 60degree is cut from a circle of radius 10cm.

it is bended to form of cone.

To Find : slant height of the cone

Solution:

Radius of Circle will be slant height of the cone

Hence Slant height of cone = 10 cm

Circumference of base of cone = ( 60/360°) 2π(10)

= (1/6)2π(10)

radius of cone  = r

=> 2πr  = (1/6)2π(10)

=> r = 10/6

=> r = 5/3

Height of cone  =    √(10² - (5/3)²) = 9.86 cm
