The selling price to C is Rs 1500.
This represents 125% since it was sold at a profit of 25%
The buying price which is 100% is given by : (100/125)×1500=1200
This was the selling price of A to B which represents 120% since it was sold at 20%profit.
The buying price oof A is therefore :
(100/120)×1200=1000
The buying price for A is Rs 1000
