A set of building blocks contains 18 bricks.Jeremy has 5 sets of building blocks.Can he divide them into the 8 equal piles? Explain your answer.

Total Blocks=18×5=90..

To divide the bricks in 8 piles , the total no of bricks should be divisible by 8 and clearly 90 is not divisible by 8...Hence Jeremy can not divide it into 8 piles.....
