perimeter of the garden =48m

Area of the garden=129.5m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the garden=[20-(3.5+3.5)]m

=13m

Circumference of the 1 semi-circular part=22/7×3.5 = 11m

Circumference of the both semi circular parts=2×11 = 22m

Perimeter of the garden=AB + Length of both semi circular parts (BC and DB)+ CD

13+22+13= 48m

Area of the garden= Area of rectangle+2× Area of semi circles

=[(13×7) + 2×1/2×22/7×(3.5)^2]m^2

91+38.5 m^2

129.5m^2
